Feeling a little out of place? A Survival Guide for Landlocked Mermaids by Margot Datz may find you yearning for the sweet salty waters to dip your tail in and looks into life’s little escapades in a fun whimsical way!
We’re all looking for something that seems to be missing, be it old friends, a favorite pair of shoes, a great restaurant, a crazy good bottle of wine that’s less than $12 bucks, a compassionate and loving mate, or just a few hours of relaxation….we’re all missing or looking for something.
Reading this book is great for those that have a little bit of time to relax, as it takes less than 1/2 hour to read. The pictures are whimsical and insightful, the words hit to the core of life’s little emotional rollercoaster.
The colorful cover makes a great coffee table book, too, so you can grab it anytime and read your favorite passages to lift up your spirits and give you the little push you need to get through the most dreary of rainy days.
You’ll love it too! Ophiuroidea is happy to have these books for sale in our shop for all you landlocked mermaids!
Finding the perfect sea glass shard is something that all beachcombers hope to someday find! If you’ve spent countless hours combing the bay and ocean for your bounty, then you know how wonderful it is to finally find a piece of cobalt blue or maybe even red, one of the rarest of all colors. Each color represents a place in time and purpose. Shella and Kim been collecting their own sea glass on the Chesapeake Bay and enjoy the solitude of the hunt. Where the only care in the world during those hunting trips is searching for the frosted treasures at our feet.
Haven’t bit by the sea glass bug yet? Sea glass will hook you once you start, and to start out right, getting some reading material will help! Ophiuroidea has the following books published by Down East Books (Maine is a sea glass Mecca) – if you’re interested in seaglass hunting these are great publications!
